The Church Bully

Since the first post, I have written a book on the subject of "The Church Bully." God has shown me many truths in His word about the spiritual warfare taking place in our so called sanctuaries.

I am still in the process of getting the book published but here are a few of the issues that are covered.

Chapter 1 What causes a bully to bully?
Chapter 2 Why do we let them bully
Chapter 3 How to fight back
Chapter 4 The Friendship Bully
Chapter 5 The Gossip Bully
Chapter 6 The Leadership Bully
Chapter 7 The Sweet Bully
Chapter 8 The In debtor Bully
Chapter 9 The Scripture Bully
Chapter 10 The Drama Bully
Chapter 11 The Situational Bully
Chapter 12 The Worker Bully
Chapter 13 The Spiritual Bully
Chapter 14 The Serial Bully

From the introduction…
The world of unbelievers is watching the church. How we act toward one another and what we say to our church family is of the utmost importance. In James 3:5-6 “Likewise the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole person, sets the whole course of his life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.” This scripture states that the tongue, which is a member of the body, can corrupt the whole body.

For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. 1 Corinthians 12:12

We as Christians or church members are one body. For someone who is experiencing the abuse of bullying in church, being a member of the body can become a painful experience. If I am the big toe and the bully is the heel, why would the head allow me to be stomped on? Too often, the church is teaching its members to “Turn the other cheek,” and ignore the deplorable behavior of one another. Nevertheless, what do you do when it is your own hand slapping your face?

I am here to tell you, it is not okay to be abused. Your family members are not supposed to hurt you. Yes, I said abused. If you are being bullied, you most likely are suffering a type of abuse. If you are a bully, STOP IT! You are abusing the members of the body and can cause corruption throughout the entire church.
… lots more to come!

Are you, or have you been the victim of a church bully? I am interested in hearing your story.

Far too often churches are dominated by an individual. Is that what Christ intended when He said
"Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be save, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe; in my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hand; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well."

According to the Word, christians are to have power and authority over evil. Why then is their so much striff within the body? In the last days the christian says I will stand for Christ, right? Then why don't we stand for Him now? Why are so many churches full of bullies who have their own agenda?
